For Legion Members

Monumetal Inc. is our family owned bronze plaque business. We are located in Eastern Ontario and serve Canada. We produce bronze plaques of various sizes and shapes, including cemetery plaques.

We became interested in cemetery plaques with military insignias since my father, three of his brothers and his father were soldiers in the 48^th Highlanders in World War II. My father and mother were buried in the veteran section of Pine Hills Cemetery in Scarborough, Ontario. I wanted their cemetery marker to show that he had be a member of the Canadian Legion. The legion was an important part of both their lives for many years.

We arranged permission from the Canadian Legion (thank you) to include the Legion badge on my parents' plaque.  We were very pleased with the result.  To show you we have replaced the Legion badge on my parents' plaque with circles and rectangles in the image below, to respect the Legion trademarks.

We have since arranged with the Legion for permission to include the Legion badge on the plaques we make for any current or former Canadian Legion member. We are pleased to make this special plaque to you or any other Legion member. Please let others know.

The badge does not fit with all plaque sizes and designs. The one above is 24x14". A sample of some of our our designs in different sizes with vases, emblems and other options are shown on the right. We also provide an optional 4" thick granite base, surrounding the plaque on all sides by 2".  We can also arrange with the cemetery for installation and perpetual care, should you wish.
